NATIONAL UNITY MUSEUM, ENUGU

The museum was established in 1972 in the spirit of reconciliation, unity and harmony among the various ethnic groups in Nigeria. The new building of this National Unity Museum now accommodates several exhibition halls with cultural materials on the belief systems of the diverse Nigerian peoples and the Igbo worldview, as well as a gallery on the history of Enugu, the coal-city.

Permanent exhibition in the museum are the Nigerian Belief Systems and Igbo World View. Facilities available are African Kitchen, auditorium, amusement park and an art exhibition.
